"You think because you married a grandpa you can talk to me?" - Actress Angela Okorie claps back at Regina Daniels

 

The ongoing drama among Nollywood actresses has intensified, as Angela Okorie has now fired back at Regina Daniels following the latter’s criticism of her remarks about fellow actress Mercy Johnson.

The controversy started after Angela Okorie went live on Instagram, claiming Mercy Johnson is battling a serious illness and urging her to seek forgiveness from people she may have wronged. Angela’s statement drew mixed reactions online, with many accusing her of being harsh and insensitive. Among the critics was Regina Daniels, who publicly condemned Angela's comments.

In her response, Regina Daniels did not hold back. She wrote:

“I’m sorry and with all due respect, aunty Angela you dey m@d! Abeg no forgive because for this side, we no dey forgive. continue and whilst at it, no forget say she get pikin wey gidigba. No dey shalaye!!!”

Regina emphasized the importance of being careful with words, especially when speaking about a mother, as her children could one day come across such content. She accused Angela of being disrespectful and lacking in basic manners and sound judgment.

Angela Okorie soon replied with a pointed Instagram Story aimed at Regina. She referenced their past relationship and made comments about Regina’s personal life, saying:

“You are like a child to me... you used to come to my house with your mum… I thought you were sensible enough to marry a man of your age.”

Angela accused Regina of overstepping boundaries and stated she had no right to speak on the situation. She continued:

“You feel because you married a grandpa you can talk to me? If you insult me again, I will remind you what you have forgotten.”

In addition, Angela took a moment to offer advice to young women, urging them to focus on building self-worth and financial independence. She claimed Regina lacked proper upbringing and ended her message with a final warning:

“Last warning @regina.daniels. I no dey see anybody wey no get respect o.”

 She made another post saying:
